(hereinafter collectively referred to as "Florence Nightingale"), we attach importance to your privacy and the security of your data as the data controller. Within this framework, we have prepared this Disclosure Text on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data ("Disclosure Text") in order to inform and inform you within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law No. 6698") and other relevant legal regulations. With this Disclosure Text, the obligation stipulated in Article 10 titled "Information Obligation" of the Law No. 6698 is fulfilled.

This Information Notice describes how we process your personal data and how we comply with data protection legislation. This means that all personal data you provide to us through our websites will only be used for the purposes specified in this Information Notice.

This Information Text is valid for everyone who visits our website. Florence Nightingale undertakes, first of all, to protect your personal data with great confidentiality and to act in accordance with Law No. 6698 and all other legal regulations introduced on the subject.

  • Planning and execution of the processes required to recommend the products to the relevant people by customizing them according to their tastes, usage habits and needs,
  • To inform about the hospital's campaigns and discounts,
  • Facilitate social media sharing function,
  • To personalize your experience with electronic services by providing you with tailored information and advertisements.

4. HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We undertake to keep your personal data for the period necessary to achieve the intended purpose, meet your needs or fulfill our legal obligations.

This period is a maximum of ten (10) years within the scope of the general limitation period. However, the retention period may be shorter. In determining this period (retention period), we take into account the following points in particular:

  • The duration of your contract;
  • The time required to process your request or complaint;
  • Your interest in our hospital;
  • The need to keep records of your interactions with us to effectively manage patient processes; and
  • The time required for our legal obligations

When we no longer need to use your personal data, it is deleted from our systems and records or made anonymous so that we cannot identify you.

5. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and private persons in accordance with the procedure specified in Article 8 of Law No. 6698, within the framework of the conditions and purposes of processing personal data, for the purposes of ensuring the legal and commercial security of Florence Nightingale and persons in business relations with Florence Nightingale, for our business units to carry out the necessary work to enable you to benefit from the services offered by Florence Nightingale, for the services offered by Florence Nightingale to be customized according to your needs and recommended to you, for the determination and implementation of Florence Nightingale's commercial and business strategies and for the execution of Florence Nightingale's human resources policies.

We make every effort to ensure that third parties with whom we share your personal data will protect your information with at least as much care as we do.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Please do not hesitate to contact us to exercise your legal rights over your personal data processed by us.

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to us using the methods set out below in this Information Text, we will finalize your request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature. However, if a fee is foreseen by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee in the specified tariff will be charged.

In this context, you have the following legal rights:

  • To request information regarding the processing of personal data,
  • To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, either domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly and to request notification of the action taken to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring processing are eliminated, even though it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law and other relevant laws, and to request that the action taken within this scope be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to a result that is to the detriment of the person himself/herself, as a result of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,
  • To request compensation in case of damages due to unlawful processing of personal data.

In accordance with Article 13, paragraph 1 of Law No. 6698, you may submit your request to us regarding the exercise of your rights specified above, in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In accordance with Law No. 6698, you must submit your application to our Company in writing.

In order to exercise your rights specified above, you can submit your request, which includes the necessary information to establish your identity and explanations regarding the right you wish to exercise from among the rights specified above, by filling out the form at “www.florence.com.tr”, and deliver a signed copy of the form to “İzzetpaşa Mah. Abide-i Hürriyet Cad. No: 166 Şişli/İstanbul” in person, together with documents to establish your identity, through a notary public or by other methods specified in Law No. 6698.
