In the 1970s, when many of our patients sought treatment abroad for heart diseases, particularly coronary bypass surgery, my dear father, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Cem'i Demiroglu, along with a group of like-minded physician friends, founded the Haseki Cardiology Institute in 1974. This institute became a success, delivering essential heart disease treatments and services to our country for many years.

Florence Nightingale Hospital, began its operations in 1989 as a small yet ambitious health center with 50 beds, performing 250 open heart surgeries annually. Thanks to the growing trust and support of our community, along with the dedicated efforts of our staff, it quickly expanded into a large hospital with 352 beds, performing more than 2000 open heart surgeries each year.

In 1993, I have started working in our organization and I continue to work as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. I am proud to be leading the Florence Nightingale Hospitals Group, which consists of four hospitals and three medical centers, including one in London.

As the Florence Nightingale Group, we are committed to preserving our rich cultural heritage, handed down from previous generations. Together with my fellow colleagues, representing the second generation, we strive to carry forward this legacy. We continue to maintain our competitive edge by adhering to the principle of providing the highest quality and safest patient care and health services, in accordance with both national and international health quality standards, throughout our healthcare and treatment services.

Our greatest source of pride is that we have achieved a level of excellence in healthcare services, enabling us to compete globally by leveraging scientific and technological advancements alongside our qualified and innovative workforce. It is immensely gratifying to see our patients choosing to receive treatment within their own country, rather than seeking it abroad. Additionally, it is a testament to our success that foreign centers, which were once preferred by our patients, now seek to collaborate with Group Florence Nightingale.
