Developmental Dysplasia of The Hip (DDH)Limping is not present in DDH as seen with the dislocation of the hip. Therefore it can go unrecognized. It mostly manifests with a pain radiating over the knee and thus is an insidious disease. It can be sometimes confused with herniated disc. These insufficient hip joints play an important role in early calcification. Recognition of such patients in the early period and treatment before the age of 30 -35 will prevent early calcification. This treatment is an approach that delays the need for a hip prosthesis correcting the hip joint insufficiency.
